Great work on the list. I do have a question though. Where are the list generated from, which sets do hey include (p2p, gov, edu, etc), and is it necessary to have it updated once a week in addition to using peerblock or is the list different than the peerblock list? Also I have used a list similar to this and have used it for like 5 or 6 months in addition to peerguardian (I have some basic copy that hasn't been updated in a while and I had to basically patch it together) I am going to upgrade to peerblock on that machine soon. I also use a vpn.Thanks. I also would recommend using www.itshidden.com which is an free anon vpn.

Personally, I prefer updating my IP filter frequently.

In an addition to using an IP filter such as "TrueBlueRover" some people are trying to exercise extra precaution by also using programs such as "PeerBlock/PeerGuardian" as secondary protection. I, however am of the oppinion that it might be best sticking to just one IP filtering solution at a time.

Truebluerover's alternate updated IPfilter
IPfilter is made up from Bluetack's blocklists which are current up to date of filter release. Truebluerover made this filter for his own personal use and never intended to post/share it. Truebluerover is not to be held responsible for any member getting a ticking off from their ISP as ipfilters are not 100% nailed-on secure protection. Truebluerover noticed a few members were eager for the latest revision of the ipfilter from MaDMAn and so offered his until the new revision was posted.

Note: With every revision some ip ranges are added, some are found to be non-dangerous and are removed periodically so some versions may be smaller in size. Please update to the lastest IPfilter when new ones come out to saves some ed2k users from being filtered accidentally by the masses.
